Diana Naatz

Bio.
Diana Naatz is a German-American soprano, praised for her "warm, lyric tembre" and her "emotive singing". She is a graduate of the Bad Schwalbach Opera Akadamie and has earned a Bachelor's Degree at UCLA and a Master's Degree from the Johannes-Gutenberg Universität in Mainz, Germany.
In July 2023 she will debut the role of Mimi in La Bohème with Opera Classica Europa in Eppstein, Germany. Roles that she has performed (and/or covered) include Michaëla in Carmen, High Priestess in Aida, Ines in Il Trovatore, Elisa in Lucia di Lammermoor, as well as Pamina and 1st Lady in Die Zauberflöte.
Diana has performed as the soprano soloist in various oratoria works, including Handel's Messiah, Mozart's Requiem, Vivaldi's Gloria, Fauré's Requiem, and Benjamin Britten's St. Nicholas Mass.

She is the co-founder of VOCA Music Association, a southern California based non-profit organization with the mission to create meaningful and engaging musical experiences that are accessible to broad audiences, while providing performance opportunities to local artists and giving back to local arts communities.

Diana is also an accomplished pianist, and music teacher. She is the former head of the piano department at the St. Bartholomew's Music Academy in San Diego, CA, and enjoys working with music students of all levels and ages.
